Knock, Knock, Knock by Lee Roscoe

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is
born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the
Lord.” Luke 2: 10-11 KJV

My 3-year-old grandson loves to sing this song: “Behold, behold! I
stand at the door.” Isn’t that cute? What is more important, though,
is that his dad and mom are helping him fill his precious mind with
the eternal truth of God’s Word rather than only the “wisdom of this
world” .

What are you and I filling our minds and lives with this Christmas?
Just the temporal fun and excitement of giving and receiving gifts
and watching “It’s A Wonderful Life”? Or, are we also taking the
time to read and reflect on God’s Word and the amazing facts of,
for example, fulfilled prophecy.

Did you know that Jesus Christ accurately satisfied over 300 prophecies
written hundreds of years before He was born? Isaiah 7:14
states: “…Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall
call his name Immanuel.”

Lord, help us to hear your knock
and open our lives to you this Christmas!
